This article gives providers and their support staff an overview of where to update each section of the Find A Doc (FAD) profile.
Professional webpages for each provider/faculty member are published across University of Utah Health's websites. The profile pages are a frame for information that is populated by various databases and sources.
This article shows you where each type of profile information on your webpage is generated from and how to update it. Most information displayed on FAD profiles pulls from the U-CV System. Log in using your uNID and CIS password

In the descriptions below, the word before the > is the menu heading in UCV, and the word after is the category you’ll select.

Research interests can be added under Research > Research Interests. Entries added in U-CV not selected from the drop-down list will not show online until they have been approved by a member of the UFIS team.
Education history can be updated under General > Education History. Be sure to select an Education Type for the entry to show on the profile.
To add publications to the Selected Publications section, go to Research > Publications. Select the box in the WEB column next to the publication you would like to add.

This section is maintained by the Digital Experience team (part of Interactive Marketing & Web (IMW). To update this section, please submit a request to IMW). If a news or other story has been created about you in their content system (taxonomy), and your uNID is tagged in it, it will eventually aggregate under the "News & Podcasts" tab. Not all of this information is currently available to show on all profiles. It is, however, queued to integrate this year. Questions? Submit a ticket to the Digital Experience request queue.
