FAR - Accessing Your College/Department FARs

This article is for users with the College/Department Administrator role and shows how to access the individual Faculty Activity Reports for your college or department.

If you do not have access and you feel that you should, please reach out to someone in your college or department that has access and they can add you as a College/Department Administrator. Or, submit a request for access through the UFIS Help Center.

 Instructions

  1. Log in to Individual FAR Reports.

  2. Select the college or department you have access to from the left-hand navigation menu.

     

  3. When a FAR period is created, you can select groups of faculty (e.g. Tenure-line, Career-line) to have their FARs auto-submitted after the submission deadline. If no groups were selected or a faculty member does not fall within one of the selected groups you’ll need to select Finalize this FAR before you can view their activity report and any other documents they uploaded (i.e., CV or Biosketch).

     

  4. Once the faculty member’s FAR has been finalized, click the dropdown box in the “Download” column and select an option. Then click the button.

     

  5. Previous year FARs can be found at the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu.
