Adding a Clinical Specialty

This article will show you how to add specialties that show on the Find A Doc profile.

Providers should only add specialties they see patients for.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the U-CV system.

  2. Click on General in the center navigation menu.

  3. Click on the Clinical Specialties category.

     

  4. Click Add a New Entry.

     

  5. Click in the “Specialty” field and type in the specialty you are looking for. Select the specialty from the drop-down menu. In the drop-down, a sub-specialty will show after the specialty and a dash. When selecting a sub-specialty, only the sub-specialty will show on the FAD profile. The specialty listed before the dash does not show.

     

  6. Click Save.

  7. To change the order of how the specialties appear on FAD select Sort Entries for U of U Profiles. Click the icon to highlight an item. Drag and drop records in the desired position.

     

     

  8. Click Save when finished.
